What is FNOR 03?

This application-rich, instructional course provides an up-to-date, integrative approach to rehabilitation of the upper quarter and cervical spine.  This course will also cover rehabilitation of the systems of balance and oculomotor function in the context of complex, multi-system injury presentations.

Efficient approaches, based on current evidence and emerging concepts in neurorehabilitation and integrative, physical medicine, will be presented in order to leverage neural plasticity to drive sensorimotor adaptation and recovery from shoulder girdle, cervical spine, and presentations of central compromise disorders.

The attendee will be presented with an integrative, efficient, and effective rehabilitation approach to the cervical spine, shoulder, and upper limb.  The systematic approach that is presented can be applied to a range of contexts, including acute injury to chronic, complex, treatment-resistant presentations.

Why Rehab Specialists Love This Program

1. FNOR 03 is Highly Practical

This course offers a systematic approach to the rehabilitation of shoulder and cervical complex that is relatively easy to learn and apply in the clinic.   Most attendees report that this course substantially improved their clinical practice.

2. It is Current and Integrative

The multidisciplinary FNOR instructional team is made up of practitioners from a range of clinical specialties drawing from medical, physical therapy, and CAM backgrounds.  The program draws heavily from current evidence but is not solely an "EBP" program but rather a highly integrative system that is intended to deliver a flexible, person-centered framework for care delivery.  Most practitioners find that they are able to leverage their own clinical experience as a foundation from which to evolve their practice in this model.

3. It is easily adaptable to any clinical practice format

This course will present a systematic approach to rehabilitation of the lower quarter with a particularly effective approach to rehabilitation of walking and running mechanics.   While the course will present a range of cutting-edge technologies in the assessment of movement, attendees will find consistent principles throughout, which facilitate adapting and scaling the FNOR approach to a range of practice environments.

What is the structure of the program?

While for the FNOR program has been exclusively offered in the in-person, class format for years, the program is now offered online.

The current online program includes live instruction supplemented by instructional videos and supportive materials.

The live course is offered over 2.5 days (2 full days followed by a half day of live instruction) for a total of 25 CEUs.

In this format, participants will LOG ON to watch and participate in the live stream, and will be able to review the course, which will be recorded (on-demand) for up to 12 mos** following the start of the course.
