What is FNOR 02?

This course is a highly practical, integrative approach to lower quarter assessment and rehabilitation. The course will span instruction in gait and movement assessment, practical pain treatment methods for common lower limb conditions, and the use of the lower kinetic chain as a robust sensorimotor platform from which to affect the central nervous system.

Why Rehab Specialists Love This Program

1. FNOR 02 is Highly Practical

The prevalence of leisure-time physical activity has increased substantially among the general population, over the past few decades, which has placed an increased value on the capacity to exercise without limitations.  While many rehab specialists serve a physically active patient population, many of whom run, hike, or walk for exercise, very few are trained and skilled in proper assessment- and rehabilitation of gait mechanics in walking and running.   This course offers a systematic approach to the rehabilitation of movement that is relatively easy to learn and apply in the clinic.   Most attendees report that this course substantially improved their clinical practice.

2. It is Current and Integrative

The multidisciplinary FNOR instructional team is made up of practitioners from a range of clinical specialties drawing from medical, physical therapy, and CAM backgrounds.  The program draws heavily from current evidence but is not solely an "EBP" program but rather a highly integrative system that is intended to deliver a flexible, person-centered framework for care delivery.  Most practitioners find that they are able to leverage their own clinical experience as a foundation from which to evolve their practice in this model.

3. It is easily adaptable to any clinical practice format

This course will present a systematic approach to rehabilitation of the lower quarter with a particularly effective approach to rehabilitation of walking and running mechanics.   While the course will present a range of cutting-edge technologies in the assessment of movement, attendees will find consistent principles throughout, which facilitate adapting and scaling the FNOR approach to a range of practice environments.

4. It addresses a range of Lower Limb issues

Dysfunction in the lower quarter has an almost unique capacity to generate and transmit injurious forces to remote areas of the body and nervous system, especially the lower spine and pelvis, often manifesting as "something other than" a lower limb condition.  Chronic lower limb conditions are often associated with chronic nervous system changes: this course will present a current and integrative, neuroscience-forward approach to the management of lower limb injury involving all joints of the lower limb as well as rehabilitation following surgery.

What is the structure of the program?

While for the FNOR program has been exclusively offered in the in-person, class format for years, the program is now offered online.

The current online program includes live instruction supplemented by instructional videos and supportive materials.

The course is offered over 2.5 days (2 full days followed by a half day of live instruction) for a total of 25 CEUs.

In this format, participants will LOG ON to watch and participate in the live stream, and will be able to review the course, which will be recorded (on-demand) for up to 12 mos** following the start of the course.
